Mrs. Lula M. Wilder, 82 of Seymour, passed away on April 4, 2015 in Jennings County at her daughter’s house.
Lula was born in Jennings County, Indiana, on September 3, 1932, daughter to the late Charlie and Lilly Pearson Kelly.
She married Baylor O. Wilder April 1, 1960, in Seymour, Indiana. He passed away on April 13, 1991.
Lula spent her life as a devoted housewife and mother. She was a member of the local V. F. W. Ladies Auxiliary.

Lula survived by: daughters, Ms. Doris Fleenor, Mrs. Rosemary (Jeff) Chew, Ms. Stella Thompson, and Mrs. Clifford (Phyllis) Dunn, son, Baylor (Nancy) Wilder. She had 18 grandchildren, 20 great grand and 1 great great grand child who survive her. She is also survived by two step-brothers, Lee Reynolds, Clarence Reynolds, two step sister, Mrs. Bob (Alice) Amos, and Mrs. Margaret (Larry) Ashpaugh.
Lula was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Doris Fleenor, five brothers, two sisters, three step brother, a granddaughter and twin great grandsons.
Family and friends may call at Voss Chapel on Wednesday from 4 – 6 p.m.
Graveside service will be at Baldwin Cemetery, Vernon, Thursday 11:00 a.m., with Rev. David Skip Smith, officiating.
The family asks that memorial be given to the charity of choice.
