Mary Davidson Koerner Steepro

Mary Davidson Koerner Steepro, 62 of Seymour, Indiana, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born August 10, 1954, in Seymour, Indiana, the daughter of Estel and Alberta “Bert” (Engelking) Davidson.

She married Roger Steepro on December 5, 1991, in Seymour, Indiana, and he survives.

Mary was a member of the New Beginnings Church of God in Seymour. She worked at Excello Shirt Factory for 20 years, was a Nurses’ Aide at Lutheran Community Home and worked at Seymour Housewares for ten years. She loved sewing and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Roger Steepro, daughter, Christina (Cary) Brown-Pyatt, son, Tracy Koerner, grandchildren: Alyssa, Brieanna, Samantha and Erica Brown, Cara Pyatt, Margaret Koerner and Darby Koerner; one great-grandchild, Christabelle Hanson, two brothers, John and Randolph “Randy” Davidson and several nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law, Brenda (David) Rodman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Dennis Koerner, a granddaughter, Jessica Brown and three brothers, Conrad, Blaine and Henry Davidson and a great-niece.

Funeral service will be held at Voss Chapel on Thursday, October 6, 2016, at 1:00 pm with Rev. Ray Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Friends and family may gather at Voss Chapel on Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm and Thursday after 11 am until time of service.
