Mary Etta (Warren) Findley, 74, of Seymour passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, January 7, 2024. Mary was born on October 6, 1949, in Windfield, AL to James and Mary “Lois” (White) Warren. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker to her family. She was a member of Peter’s Switch Church and an avid lover of the outdoors. Mary loved to sit in the sun, tend to her flower beds and spend time with her grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her husband, Bud Findley; sons: Joe (Valerie) Findley, Jason (Vanessa) Findley and Jermey (Michelle) Findley; grandchildren: Lauren, Jed and Cassie; brothers: Harry (Dolly) Warren, Duke (Gail) Warren, and Curt (Cathy) Warren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

There will be a memorial service for Mary on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 11:30 am at the Voss & Sons Funeral and Cremation Service, 316 N. Chestnut St., Seymour. Mary’s family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, January 12, 2024, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Diabetes Association or to the National Kidney Foundation.
