Melissa A Killion

Melissa A. Killion, 48 of Seymour, passed away at her home on Sunday, February 22, 2015. She was born in Seymour, Indiana. The daughter of the late Arthur Killion Jr. and Dorothy (Neanover) Killion who resides in Seymour.
She is survived by a brother, Rick Killion, sister, Diane Killion (Jeffery Smith) and sister in law, Carol Killion. She was preceded in death by her father and her brother Arthur Duane “Rambo” Killion.
A family and friend memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
All arrangements have been entrusted to the caring staff of Voss Funeral Service and Crematory

I'm at a loss for words. There are so many memories of our frienship. I think the ones I'll always cherish are the nights I would come over and we would stay up late talking and laughing and sneaking in the house late when we were younger to talk (whisper) lol. Hard to believe I never see that contagious smile again. I just saw you Wednesday, spoke to you on the phone Friday and now you're gone. Melissa you will be greatly missed ...but never forgotten. I worked with Melissa at Sears - Clarksville Indiana. We laughed together and pulled our hair out together with the crazy stuff we were asked to do. She was so kind and caring. So sad. Praying for peace to her class friends and family.

I knew Melissa through my wife dianne. Melissa was a wonderful person with a big heart, we had the pleasure of enjoying her company for awhile some years back. She will be missed deeply.

Melissa was a friend and coworker at Scheels. We trained together in lovely Fargo to be part of the founding crew of the Coralville, Iowa, store. I thought the world of her and very much respected the will and fight she quietly had inside her. The world is a darker place without her, but I know she would be smiling and very appreciative of all the kind words here that were definitely earned in her short life. She was one of the good ones.

I worked with Melissa at Sears. Melissa was a very good manager and a lovely person. How very sad. She left us much too soon.

I worked with Missy at Aisin and enjoyed her fun sense of humor. Diane, so sorry for your family's loss. I will keep you all in my prayers.

I first met Melissa working together at Scheels. Just before she returned to Iowa City, my wife had passed away, and Melissa was so good to me. Christmas decorating in retail was always fun with Melissa! I pray that all her family and friends will be blessed to remember her smile and the good times.

Thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends . No words can express the emotions they are and will go thru. Bless you all.

Melissa was the most genuine person I had ever met, I wish I could harness her smile & laugh so as to enjoy it for years to come. No one, and I mean no one, had a smile & personality as bright as Melissa's . She is a one of a kind. My world & everyone else''s is so much dimmer without her.
