Michael L. “Myke” Murray

Michael L.” Myke” Murray 63, of Seymour passed away on Saturday October 10, 2015 at the Hickory Creek Nursing Home in Columbus. He was born on March 15, 1952 in Franklin, Indiana, the son of the late John Edward and Callie (McGaha) Murray.

Myke was a 1970 graduate of Seymour High School and had some continuing education in Electronics. He worked for Reliance Electric, Heritage Environmental in Indianapolis and Royale Auto Sales. Myke loved music and was a musician and a recording artist, he love to make people smile and was an avid Beatles fan.

Surviving relatives include; son, Michael Todd Murray, brothers, Don (Sandy) Murray, Mark (Crystal- Jill) Murray, Robert (Paula) Hardin, Steve Johnson and Phillip Johnson, sister, Paula Johnson and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death are his parents, brother: John Edward Murray Jr. and sister: Mary Sue Knight and a infant daughter.

Friends may call at Voss Chapel on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 from 4 to 8pm and Wednesday after 1pm until time of service. Funeral service will be on Wednesday October 14, 2015 at 2pm, with Pastor Bill Lockman officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Memorials can be made in Myke’s honor to the Hickory Creek Nursing Home in Columbus.
