Morris Dale “Cigar” Sandlin, 74 of Seymour, Indiana, passed away Friday, June 5, 2015, at his home.
He was born in Seymour, Indiana, on December 22, 1940, to the late Harold H. “Dick” and Lorene Hillebrand Klosterman.
On September 23, 1962, he married Judith “Judy” White who survives.
Cigar was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. After serving in the US Air Force, he worked as a truck driver until he retired.
He is survived by his wife, his daughter, Karen (Joe) Stroud, his son, Dale Sandlin, 8 grandchildren, Holly Evans, Heather Evans, Cody Evans, Cara Stroud, Bret Sandlin, Ryan York, Alex Sandlin, and Christina Sandlin; 7 great-granddaughters, 2 great-grandsons, and 2 sisters, Delores Rebber and Shirley Hawkins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Johnny Sandlin, and a great-grandson, Hunter.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, June 8, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. at Voss Chapel.
