Mrs. Nita K. Mousa, 58, of Seymour, went to her heavenly home Tuesday June 24, 2014 at Schneck Medical Center.
Mrs. Mousa was born on April 7, 1956 in Seymour, IN, the daughter of Charles “Gale” and Carole (Carmichael) Rucker.
On February 15, 1980, in Seymour, IN, she married Kenneth W. Mousa who survives.
Nita graduated from Seymour High School in 1974. She was a member of Cornerstone Community Church where she was involved in the youth program and a member of the Praise team. She served as director for the Youth Leadership Jackson County (YoJACK). Nita was a hairdresser and owner of Coiffure Studio Beauty Shop.
She is survived by her husband; children: Bambi (Chris) Cardinal, Seth M. Mousa, and Leah M. Mousa; grandchildren: Blake and Luke Cardinal; father in-law: Kenneth Mousa; sisters: Rita (Jeff) McNeely, Peggy Rucker, and Karen (Tom) Bates; brother and sister in-laws: Phyllis (Tom) Kleber, Judy Mousa, and Bill Mousa; nieces: Brianne (Lee) Duvall, Charla (Rusty) Bickel; Hallie and Josie Bates, and nephews: Jordan (Jennifer) McNeely, Josh (Nicki) Kleber, Jeremy Kleber, Cameron Mousa, and Chaise (Lacey) Mousa; great nephews: Hunter, Nolan and Graham McNeely, Aiden and Kayden Mousa.
She was preceded in death by her parents and mother in law: Geneva Mousa.
A celebration of life service will be at Cornerstone Community Church on Sunday June 29, 2014 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Johnny Spivey and Rev. David Ison officiating and a Voss Dove release following the service.
