Opal Virginia Ault

Opal Virginia Burns Ault, 88, of Seymour, passed away December 20, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born August 31, 1926 in Honeytown, IN, she is the daughter of Bertis Ray and Vivian Blanche (Altemeyer) Burns

On August 16, 1947, she married Howard Henry “Chub” Ault who passed away January 23, 2002.

Mrs. Ault was a loving, caring person and enjoyed being a housewife and mother. She attended Spraytown and Freetown Schools. Opal was a member of the Spraytown Home Economics Club. She was affiliated with the Spraytown Free Methodist Church.

She is survived by her daughters: Reah Dawn Ault and Vickie Fleetwood; granddaughter, Alisha Dawn (Ezra Jack) Griffin; brother, Kenneth Eugene (Naomi) Burns and a sister, Lola Mae Edington.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son-in-law, Gerald Fleetwood.

Funeral services will be held at Voss Chapel on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Jerry VanKuiken officiating.

Visitation will be held at Voss Chapel on Monday, December 22, 2014 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Tuesday, December 23, 2014 after 12:00 PM until time of service.

Burial will take place at White’s Chapel Cemetery.

Memorials may be written to Spraytown Free Methodist Church or Ratcliff Grove Christian Church.
