Patricia Ann Habenicht, 85, of Seymour, Indiana, passed away Monday, March 11, 2024, at Covered Bridge Health Campus.
Patricia was born December 13, 1938, to the late Louis R. and Edith (Allman) Kleber. After graduating Hayden High School in 1957, she made it her life’s work to care for her family. She enjoyed baking, especially her famous peanut brittle which she made around the holidays. She loved her flower garden and was careful to make sure her favorite daffodils were free of weeds. Patricia enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and was an avid fan of Wheel of Fortune.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Janet (Alan) Randall, Cheryl Habenicht, and George Habenicht; grandchildren, Michelle Randall, Kimberlee Randall, and Reid Habenicht; brothers, Robert W. (Tammi) Kleber, Thomas R. (Phyllis) Kleber, Larry J. (Penny) Kleber, and Louis M. (Debbie) Kleber; and sister, Mary M. (Phil) Garrison.
She is preceded in death by her parents, listed above; and her son, Ronald Habenicht.
A graveside service for Patricia will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2024, at Hayden Cemetery, Hayden, Indiana. Pastor Scott Brown of Reddington Christian Church will officiate. Services have been entrusted to Voss & Sons Funeral Services, 316 North Chestnut Street, Seymour.
