Pat was one of my closest friends during our growing up years in Seymour. We were together in school, in First Baptist Church, and in Girl Scouts, including working as hospital aides and shared many fond memories when we would get together at Class of 1947 reunions. We would like to express our sincere condolences. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Montel family. Pat was our neighbor for eleven years. Mike and I have no family in Florida and our parents have both passed away, so we loved for Pat to come to our home for dinner, especially for our Mother's Day brunch. She was such a joy and our Thanksgiving dinners were much more thankful when Pat joined us. We will miss Pat and her kindness.
