Peggy Jo Hensley

Ms. Peggy Jo Ruwe Hensley, 64 of Seymour, passed away at home on Saturday 2:45 p.m.

Peggy was born in Seymour on January 25, 1950. She was the daughter of the late Eldor Henry “Doc” Ruwe and Erna Marie Rittman Ruwe.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and a graduate of Seymour High School. She was employed with NTN Drive Shaft, Walesboro. Peggy was all about her grand kids and family. She had married William Hensley who survives.

She leaves behind three daughters: Tricia (William) Hohnstreiter, Kristie (Steven) Bevers, Jr., and Savannah (Alvaro) Alonso, son Matt Hensley, step son Will (Christine) Hensley, brother Don J. (Marlene) Ruwe, grand children Megan McIntosh, Amber Coomer, Trayton Bevers, Heidi, Emily and Jonathan Alonso, Olivia Hensley, Guin, C.W. and Lilly Hensley and three great grandchildren .

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be at Voss Chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jimmy Rodriguez officiating

Family and friends may call at Voss Funeral Service on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday after 10 a.m. until time of service.

Memorials may be written to the American Heart Association.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Voss Funeral Service and Tri County Crematory.
