Rheba Jane Weber, 74, of Seymour, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at IU Methodist Hospital.
She was born June 19, 1941, in Seymour, Indiana, the daughter of Thomas Henry and Verna Marie Clark Knott.
She married Dennis Richard Weber on August 13, 1960, at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Rheba was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She graduated from Shields High School then spent her life as a housewife and homemaker. In her younger days, she worked at Seymour Telephone Co., Schneck Memorial Hospital as a receptionist in the lab, and AMOCO as a shipping manager. She was strong in her faith. She loved spending time with her family, playing cards, and reading the newspaper and Bible.
She is survived by her children, Kevin (Johannah Pollert) Weber, Andrew (Michelle) Weber and Gretchen (Michael) Corcoran; grandchildren, Amber Weber Chance, Jeremy Weber, and Justin, Emily and Nathan Corcoran; great-grandchildren, Brayton Cranfill, Jayden Chance and Weston Chance; and her sister, Beverly (John) Emhuff.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a grandson, Brett Weber, sisters, Marilyn Knott and Carolyn Jeter, and brothers, Gordon “Pete” Knott and Bill Knott.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 23, 2015, at Voss Chapel with the Rev. Ralph Blomenberg, Rev. Philip Bloch, Rev. James Rodriguez and Vicar Alex Hoffmeyer officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
Friends and family may call at Voss Chapel Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. and Monday after 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
