I am so sorry to hear of Roger’s passing. We were classmates at Hayden Elementary School and graduated together from Seymour High School. We would catch up with each other at the Hayden Museum. He was a man of many interests.

Rodger was such a great guy with such a passion for his family, friends and community. We worked together at Cummins and he was a kind and friendly soul I always liked to visit with. He was a wonderful sense of support to our son during that time, he acted as a mentor and took him in under his wing and really helped him through some tough times when he first started his own career at Cummins. Our thoughts and prayers for peace and comfort are with you and all of Rodgers friends and family. God bless.

John Rudolph left a message on January 17, 2024:
I remember Rodger from playing softball back in the 70's at P & D. Since my grandmother was Sarah Ruddick Whitsett, I had a connection with Rodger. He recently posted a video on Facebook from the early 60's of the Ruddicks including my grandparents. My sisters and I really appreciated that. I had not seen Rodger for years until this past summer. I enjoyed talking with him at Larrisons. Praying for the family.

I've known Rodger and his family since he was a baby. I held him on my knee at an MYF party when he was less than a year old & I went to school with both his parents. Great people. The community has suffered a great loss. I hope the board and community can find a person to continue Rodger's legacy.
