Mr. R. Joe Cockerham, 52, of Seymour, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at his home.

Born October 6, 1962, in Seymour, IN, he was the son of James H. Cockerham and Mary Rose (Hildreth) Simpson.

Joe enjoyed managing greenhouses and working with plants.

He is survived by his children: Lacey Lynn Cockerham and Lynsey Rose Cockerham; brothers: Mike and Tom Simpson; Sisters: Carol Hardy and Nancy Noblitt and 5 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Nelson and Jerry.

All arrangements have been entrusted to the caring staff of Voss & Sons Funeral Service and Tri-County Crematory, Seymour, IN.

I am so sorry for your loss :( I have known Joe since we were in the 5th grade. Stayed in touch on and off thru the years and am truly saddened by his passing. May God bring your family comfort and peace.
