Stella M Myers

Stella M. Myers, 87, of Seymour, passed away on March 6, 2015. Stella was born in Lee County, VA to Paris and Maggie (Williams) Wilder.
On May 27, 1972, at Bethel Baptist Church in Columbus, she married Robert D. “Bob” Myers who preceded her in death March 24, 1999.
Stella was a member of Central Christian Church, Seymour. She was employed for 19 years with Excello Shirt Factory and 14 years in the dietary department at Schneck Medical Center. She was a member of the VFW ,Eagles Ladies Auxillary, and Loyal Devoir.
Stella is survived by her children, Wanda (Denver) Gray, Thomas R. (Donnie) Phipps; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Pauline Flora, Sylvia Fortner, Betty Aldridge; and brother, Thomas J. Wilder.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, daughter and son-in-law Wilma and Vance Millirons, brothers, Herbert Wilder, Baylor Wilder, Arthur B. Wilder and a grandson.
Funeral services will be at Voss Chapel on Monday, March 9 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Lewis Wright officiating.
Friends may call at Voss Chapel on Monday at 11:00 AM until time of the service.
Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
