Sylvia D. Burnette Woodard, 70 of Seymour, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at her home.
She was born May 16, 1945, in Alva, Kentucky, the daughter of Lemuel Burnette and Lillian (Siler) Broyles.
She married Robert “Bob” Woodard on August 4, 2006, in Seymour, Indiana, and he survives.
Sylvia worked as a Lab Technician at Scott County Hospital for many years then at Pollards and Associates in Louisville. She sold cars at Arbuckles and Storey Ford. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, the American Legion, VFW and the Moose Lodge all of Seymour. She loved music, dancing and animals.
She is survived by her husband, her son, Bob Bryant, three brothers, Sam (Donna) Burnette, Larry (Phyllis) Burnette and Dan (Amy) Burnette; step-children, Ed (Jill) Woodard and Debra (Donnie) Wetzel; three step-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins; and Lois Engelking, a very good friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Thomas Lee Bryant II, and her stepfather, Glenn Broyles.
A private graveside service will be conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service at Riverview Cemetery.
