Thelma Applegate Feeney, 65, of Seymour passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on October 11, 2023. Thelma was born on August 13, 1958, in Seattle Washington to Allen and Nancy (Crouch) Applegate. She was a veteran of the United States Army and was in the first group of women selected for duty in the 82nd Airborne Division. After her service in the Army, Thelma worked for Seymour Tubing, Inc. in Human Resources. Thelma was a people person and liked to make crafts for friends and work colleagues.

Thelma is survived by her husband of 30 years, Andrew; sons: Thomas Myers, Timothy Myers, Anthony Myers and Andrew Feeney; daughter, Theresia Feeney; brothers: Michael Applegate and Wayne Applegate; sister, Allison Applegate; grandchildren: Austin, Timothy, Madison, Samantha, Sage, Cory, LeeAnn, and Jayden. Thelma was preceded in death by her parents.

A graveside for Thelma will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Monday, October 16, 2023, at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison.
